Matariki Kāri - Nau Mai te Mātahi o te Tau

Our 2025 Matariki collection was thoughtfully designed by the tamariki that inspired Nāku Noa ✨

⭐️Nau Mai te Mātahi o te Tau was designed by our little Miss 9. Here's her whakamārama of her design: 

"Ko tōku take o tēnei kāri he hokinga mahara. I haere mātou ko tōku whānau ki Whitireia ki te kite i a Matariki, ki te tuku karakia ki ia whetū, ki te waiata, ki te whakarite hautapu hoki (ka ngāna mātou ki te whakarite tika!).
I a mātou e aro atu ki a Matariki, ka aranga a Tama-nui-te-rā ā ka kite mātou i ēnei tae, ki a Rangi, ki a Papa, ki te pae tawhiti hoki! Ko au me tōku Pāpā kei raro! Me whakanui tātou i te mātahi o te tau" 

I chose to design a card to represent a memory of Matariki! My family went to Whitireia to see Matariki, to karakia to each of the whetū, to sing, and prepare a hautapu (we were eager to get it right!). As we were busy watching Matariki, the sun rose and we could see these colours, in the sky, on the land and on the horizon! We should all celebrate the start of the New Year, te Mātahi o te Tau!

⭐️Printed on recycled card, the inside simply reads "Ngā Mihi o te Tau Hou" leaving plenty of space for you to add your mihi (acknowledgements). 

⭐️All cards come with a custom fit white envelope.
